Helping Our Heroes, One Gutter at a Time
Denver Brothers Gutters Partner with PAWS to Support Veteran Mental Health
At Denver Brothers Gutters, we believe in serving our community—not just through quality craftsmanship, but by giving back to the people who have given everything for our freedom. That’s why, for the month of June, we’re proud to support PAWS (Providing Animals With Support), a Colorado-based nonprofit dedicated to preventing veteran suicide through professionally trained service dogs.
5% of all non-discounted gutter projects this month will be donated directly to PAWS and their life-saving work.

The Crisis We Can't Ignore
Every single day, 22 veterans lose their lives to suicide. These heroes return home forever changed, often facing the invisible wounds of war—Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anxiety, and depression—with little support.
PAWS was founded by Staff Sergeant (Ret.) Michael Connors, a combat veteran who knows the devastating toll of these battles all too well. After enduring his own journey through trauma and recovery, Michael turned his pain into purpose—creating a nonprofit that empowers veterans with service dogs trained to be their daily companions, emotional lifelines, and protectors.
Why Service Dogs?
Service dogs offer more than comfort. They provide:
For many veterans, these dogs are the difference between despair and a second chance at life.

This Mission is Personal
This campaign isn’t just a cause—it’s personal for our team. James Estes, owner of The Brothers that just do Gutters – Denver, is a veteran himself. He is currently going through the PAWS program alongside his service dog, Lou Lou.

James knows firsthand how powerful the bond between a veteran and a service dog can be. His journey with Lou Lou is not only helping him heal but inspiring him to raise awareness and support for other veterans navigating similar battles. His decision to bring this partnership to life reflects his deep commitment to giving back to the veteran community that means so much to him.
